Why don’t you recommend cedar or pressure-treated wood for mailbox stands?

While real wood looks great when it’s new, Florida’s heat, humidity, and sun quickly cause fading, peeling, cracking, and warping, even in cedar or pressure-treated pine. Wood simply isn’t made to last outdoors here. We’ll build it if you prefer, but wood finishes aren’t covered under warranty.

For lasting beauty and durability, all of our other stands finishes include a 25-year warranty and won’t warp, peel, or crack over time.
